The Volunteering portfolio is lead by Christina Stet. This portfolio is dedicated to organising volunteer groups thorughout the Pūharakekenui and currently has groups for:
Bird Monitoring
Environmental Advocacy
Ecosystem Restoration
The Trust will be launching a new volunteering group for Invertebrate Monitoring soon!

Christina Stet
Christina has lived in the Styx catchment area since 2016 and has fallen in love with the area. She volunteers with the Trust doing water quality monitoring and bird monitoring, and also holds the Volunteers Portfolio for the Trust. She has worked professionally in conservation in Canterbury since 2011. Her other passions include her 2 dogs, and exploring the outdoors while walking, cycling and swimming.
